About Sokolov Systems
Software tools for email domain intelligence.
What Is Sokolov Systems?
Sokolov Systems is a software company that builds tools for email domain intelligence. The company develops products that help businesses, IT teams, and researchers understand the email infrastructure behind domains — which provider handles mail, whether a domain can receive email, and how DNS records are configured.
What We Build
Our flagship product is the Email Provider Filter, a bulk email validation and provider identification tool. It checks MX and SPF DNS records to determine which mail provider a domain uses, processes up to 500 emails at a time, and sorts results by provider for easy export.
The tool supports 26+ providers, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Yahoo, Zoho, ProtonMail, Amazon SES, Mailgun, SendGrid, and many more. It uses a layered detection approach — checking SPF records first to identify the true provider even when filtering services like Mimecast or Proofpoint handle MX records.
Who the Product Is For
- Sales and marketing teams — identify prospects' email platforms to tailor outreach and integrations.
- IT administrators — audit domain configurations and verify email infrastructure across an organization.
- Security researchers — analyze provider distribution and detect misconfigurations or domain changes.
- Email migration consultants — inventory current providers before planning a migration.
- List managers — clean email lists by removing addresses at domains that cannot receive mail.
Our Purpose
Sokolov Systems develops software tools for legitimate business and email-domain intelligence purposes. We believe that understanding email infrastructure should be accessible, fast, and transparent. Our tools use publicly available DNS records — no private data, no inbox access, no password checks.
Founder
Sokolov Systems was founded by Nwakanma Winner Tochi, who developed the Email Provider Filter and the underlying DNS analysis engine.
